Inter-Institutional Cooperation
Measure IV - Inter-Institutional Cooperation- provides a possibility to run bilateral and multilateral projects aimed at developing and tightening the cooperation between educational institutions in Poland and in the donor countries by means of organising joint undertakings or research and analyses over defined issues.
Activities undertaken as a part of the particular projects should lead to:
Organising seminars, workshops, conferences focused on issues important for the primary school, secondary school, university education, vocational education or adult education sectors, supporting the creation of the European Higher Education Area, European Research Area;
Studies and analyses related to the university education, vocational education and adult education in Poland and/or increasing the cooperation between Poland and the donor countries in the field of education and research studies, including preparation and conduct of relevant research/expert’s reports;
Publications on education topics in Poland and/or development of cooperation between Poland and the donor countries in the filed of education and research;
Developing and implementing intensive courses for international student groups (from Poland and from the donor countries);
Developing new teaching tools and methods focusing in particular on IT & communications technologies, including e-learning and problem-based teaching;
Comenius-based school projects (joint execution of undertakings being of common interest, including students’ and teachers’ exchange schemes).
A single project can be aimed at:
- International mobility between partner institutions;
- Organisation of joint undertakings (meetings, seminars, workshops, conferences);
- Studies, reports, analyses, publications, development of teaching materials.
Applicants
The co-funding eligibility within the framework of Action IV –Inter - Institutional Cooperation Projects– can be extended to the following entities:
- Schools;
- Higher education facilities;
- Research and scientific institutes;
- Other organisations and institutions active in the field of education (on all levels: primary, secondary, bachelor, university, vocational and adult education).
Project duration
The project lasts up to 2 years.
Financing principles
Under the Inter - Institutional Cooperation it is possible to obtain co-financing between EUR 5,000 to EUR 100,000 for a single project. The co-financing amount granted may not exceed 90% of the entire project cost, the remaining minimum amount of 10% should be ensured by the applicant from sources other than the STF.
Eligible costs:
- Travel,insurance and subsistence costs;
- Organisational costs for seminars, workshops, conferences;
- Staff cost, consultancy costs;
- Preparation and production of information and teching materials;
- Administrative costs, including overheads.
Payment of advances and project settlement schedule
- Advance payment – up to 50% of the total co-financing amount, payable after signing the contract;
- Interim payment – up to 40% of the total co-financing amount, payable after accepting the Interim Report;
- Balance payment – minimum 10% of the total co-financing amount, payable after accepting the Final Report.
